I wish to thank all of you who voted for me in the May 4 primary. I am humbled by your confidence and promise you that I am ready for the challenge ahead in the general election. To be successful, I will need your vote again as well as the votes of your family, friends and neighbors on November 2.
I have had the honor of spending my entire career serving the
people of North Carolina. Because I have worked in all three branches
of state government, I have seen the law from all sides. My unique
perspective will ensure fairness, impartiality and uniform application
of the law. To the court I will bring my longstanding insistence
on intelligent, clear opinions, as well as the breadth and depth
of expertise that will make them possible. You can count on me
to serve with integrity, diligence and compassion. I need and will
appreciate your vote on November 2, 2010.
Jane Gray brings to every engagement her conscience, her sharp intellect,
and a principled view of her responsibilities under the law and to her
fellow citizens.
